Bloom Ballet Company

Bloom Jr. & Sr. Company 2025-2026

Mission Statement

Bloom Ballet Company, founded in 2008, exists to promote the gospel of Jesus Christ through dance and to Grow in Grace as set forth in 2 Peter 3:18, “But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.”

  • Nurturing & Supportive: Creating a nurturing "greenhouse" where dancers can bloom at their own pace.

  • Pre-Professional Program: Emphasizing a pre-professional ballet program with auditions, cast lists, classical ballet structure, and inner-Company levels (Jr. Company: 2 years, Company Apprentice: 2 years, Senior Company: 1-2 years.)

  • Holistic Development: Building confidence, discipline, poise, and essential life skills, not just focusing on a potential arts career.

  • Spiritual Foundation: Promoting the gospel of Jesus Christ through dance.

  • Individual Potential: Helping each dancer find and express their unique "big sparkle". Dancers have to opportunity to participate in our Teacher’s Assistant Program which fosters a love for teaching; additionally, dancers are encouraged to choreograph as part of our Spring Show which promotes collaboration amoung peers and sets dancers up for future artistic directing.

  • Faith-Based Storytelling: Using dance to tell powerful stories of faith. Our repertoire includes:

    • 2009: The Hymn Project

    • 2010: No Other Name

    • 2012: The New Jerusalem

    • 2014: The Nativity

    • 2015: True Love

    • 2016: The New Jerusalem

    • 2017: The Flood (Noah)

Everlight Performance Team

Mission Statement

Everlight is the performance team of The Macholah Ballet, Inc. created to provide dedicated dancers ages ten and up with expanded opportunities to perform and grow throughout the dance season. Our mission is to support dancers who demonstrate readiness, commitment, and a passion for performance by offering meaningful experiences beyond the traditional classroom. With jazz as our primary focus, Everlight also embraces opportunities in pom, tap, and lyrical styles, encouraging versatility, confidence, and artistic excellence.

The name Everlight reflects both our faith and our calling as artists. EVER signifies always, enduring, and eternal, while LIGHT represents brightness, hope, and truth. Together, Everlight embodies our belief that as followers of Christ, we are called to consistently reflect His light in all that we do—on and off the stage.

As dancers, we recognize that performance is not only an art form, but also an opportunity to serve and witness. Through movement, discipline, and excellence, Everlight seeks to share the Good News by reflecting Christ’s love, joy, and truth in every performance. Whether on stage, at competitions, or within the community, our dancers strive to use their gifts to glorify God and point others toward His light.

Scripture reminds us in Matthew 5:16: “Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”

Providing additional performance opportunities allows our dancers to shine beyond the walls of the studio—bringing light into competitions, events, and communities that may feel weary or dim.

We believe every dancer has been gifted with purpose. As stated in 1 Peter 4:10: “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.”

Everlight encourages dancers to steward their abilities with humility, gratitude, and integrity, using dance as a way to serve others and point hearts toward Christ.

As believers, we are also reminded in 1 Peter 2:9 that we are called to stand apart, not for recognition, but for witness—declaring the praises of Him who called us out of darkness into His wonderful light.

Through Everlight, our dancers are equipped to lead, perform, and live boldly—sharing the Good News through dance while honoring God with their gifts.
